how to make yourself do something without ask nothing in return when it comes to love?

Because man are made with consciousness of the existence of "soulmate"
and for the rest of our life, we’ve been forced to look for it
and when we finally found him/her it doesn’t mean the problems end
love is so undescribable, uncountable and no certain amount for satisfaction
and each of us have our own measure

for me, it’s easier when  we could’ve love someone and it’s ended there
