Hidup itu. . .
Hidup itu di mata seorang Albert Einstein mungkin adalah probabilitas dan relatif. Kesimpulan ngawur setelah membaca salah satu kutipannya "Uncertainty is a part of reality" (yaa saya kan ga mengenal beliau secara personal yahh)
Tapi seminggu lalu, kalimat yang dilontarkan oleh Oprah di salah satu episode re-run Oprah Winfrey.."Maybe, HE created us for a greater good" (HE, refers to The Almighty) Ya, tersentak begitu saja.
For i think people are gettin’ more and more individual. Have we ever think while we’re doing (or intend to do) something for the good of others? Not just scrappin’ gold as much as we want for a better life for ourself. For sure, me, myself, still tryin’ to do the best for myself and the man who’ll stand before me.
But, just being a curious one. Suddenly i wanna ask you this (a question i ask myself too) Because there’s a day when someone ask me why i should bother myself to think and help other as good as i can without further intention (benefit for myself)
And for that time, i couldn’t aswer. Karna di satu poin yang lain ada benar-nya juga ketika menolong menjadi sesuatu yang merepotkan, atau bahkan merugikan diri sendiri. I can only hold on after my father’s words. A good deed will end you to another good thing. We shouldn’t ask too much for a favour.
Dan kemudian, Oprah mengatakan hal yang sama. Dalam kacamata bekerja dan mendapatkan uang - hal yang penting untuk tetap hidup. She said, the secret of her success was, doing something for a greater good. Help. Service. And then money will comes as it’s bonuses. As Bill Gates, Rhonda Bryne, and millions of those great man.
Well, i just wonderin’..cause the world i live today? it’s seems like fading. The willingness to help others. Sepertinya berbuat baik harus dengan alasan. Niat baik pun terasa seperti -i give you something, only when you give me something in return- Saya mulai berfikir seperti itu untuk sementara.
Sampai saya kemudian tetap saja bertemu dengan orang-orang yang melakukan banyak hal untuk orang-orang di sekitar nya tanpa berharap akan sesuatu. Well, you just can tell by your heart aight? when someone’s tryin’ to help without anything as a debt. Ya, seperti kata Conan Edogawa "tidak selalu perlu ada alasan untuk berbuat baik" ( ahahahah kebanyakan baca ). As long as it’ s not ruining your life, why should you hold yourself to do something good?
Berbicara soal melakukan sesuatu, pagi ini membaca deretan deretan berita menyedihkan tentang negara saya yang tercinta ini. Saya hanya berharap mudah-mudahan saja masih ada -sadar- (atau nurani?) pada orang-orang yang kebetulan memiliki kekuasaan lebih. Oh i do hope they still remember. tetap ingat akan tanggung jawab yang mengikuti semua yang tersedia di saat kesiapan memimpin terucap.
As i remember again, a qoute "In such great power, comes a great responsibility". And in their hands, there’s many lives.
